针对某些学者重新肯定赵景深在 2 0世纪 2 0年代的误译“牛奶路” ,通过对“路 (way)”的概念和意象的探讨 ,对MilkyWay在希腊罗马神话传说中渊源的考查 ,并对中国人和欧美人就天河在意象上进行比较 ,论证了赵译的不确和某些学者观点的失当 ,进而论述了修辞手段在文学作品中所起的无可替代的“点睛”作用。
In view of some scholars' recent affirmation on the mistranslation of English phrase the Milky Way done by Zhao Jing shen in 1920's,the author explored the concepts and images of the word !way", studied the origin of the phrase Milky Way in Greek and Roman legends and compared the image of the Galaxy in the eyes of Chinese whth that of Europeans and Americans, demonstrated the inexactness of Zhao's translation and the inappropriateness of some scholars'viewpoints,and expounded the irreplaceable parole of rhetorical means in literary works.
