PV power generation has the characteristics of intermittent and volatility.Accurately predicting the output power of PV power generation systems plays an important role in grid dispatching,safe and stable operation.This paper presents a prediction method of output power of PV power generation system based on similar day theory and SVR algorithm of LIBSVM software.The simulation of the example and the comparison with the BP neural network algorithm,RBF neural network algorithm and Elman neural network algorithm prove that the prediction method is effective.
