Since the fierce competition of nuclear technology,the independence and even export of nuclear technology has already been the strategic goals of the nuclear power enterprises in China.Therefore,the oversea patent strategy of the nuclear technology will play a key role in this process.It is necessary to analyze the oversea patent layout strategy on both micro and macro levels,so as to make sure the selection of the oversea patent layout pattern.By analyzing of the successful cases of AP1000 from Westinghouse Electric Corporation,the modes and advantages of their technology transfer are summarized,which provides the reference for the nuclear enterprise in China in terms of the oversea patent strategy.Furthermore,in order to achieve a successful oversea patent layout,the scientific administration pattern should be established and the target country should be selected reasonably.At the same time,the patent layout in this country should be sustainable,and the maximum profit can be gotten through the patent licensing.
