基于专利信息洞察竞争对手发展趋势

基于专利信息所含有的丰富内容且提前公开等特点,专利成为了解竞争对手战略布局的重要情报源。以竞争对手跟踪及监测发展路径为研究出发点,对京东方、LG显示两大集团型企业进行了全球专利申请量趋势、申请类型分布、申请区域分布及技术路线发展路径等方面的分析,阐述了基于专利信息分析视角的企业竞争对手战略的研究与实践。结果表明:两家集团的专利质量均较高,近年来发明专利占比均超过80%,且注重在中国、美国、日本、欧洲、韩国等主要国家和地区进行技术布局;相较于LG显示,京东方的专利申请活动较晚,但创新动力十足,2010—2019年近10年专利申请量直线上升,年平均申请量达7 000件左右。

Based on the rich content of patent information and its disclosure in advance, patents have become an important source of information to understand the strategic layout of competitors. Taking the competitors tracking and development path monitoring as a starting point, the global patent application trend, application type distribution, regional distribution and technology roadmap development of BOE and LG Display were analyzed. The strategy research and practice of competitors based on the patent information were detailed. Results show that both groups have the relatively high patent quality with the proportion of invention patent > 80% in recent years. They attach importance to different technology layouts in China, United States, Japan, Europe, and South Korea. Compared with LG Dispaly, the patent application activities of BOE start later, but it is full of innovation impetus. The application number of BOE has skyrocketed from 2010 to 2019 with average annual number of applications about 7 000.
