Objective To study the clinical effect of plate and screw internal fixation in the treatment of long tubular bone traumatic fractures of extremities.Methods A total of 120 patients with long tubular bone traumatic fractures of extremities were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 60 patients in each group.The control group was given closed reduction and interlocking intramedullary screw for fixation.The observation group was given plate and screw internal fixation.The fracture healing time,the good rate of fracture healing and the incidence rate of postoperative complications were observed and compared between the two groups.Results The fracture healing time in the observation group was(85.4±3.6)d,less than that of(132.5±3.4)d in the control group.The good rate of fractures was 96.67%in the observation group,better than 80.00%in the control group.The incidence rate of postoperative adverse reactions(1.67%)was lower than that in the control group(15.00%).The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Plate and screw internal fixation in the treatment of long tubular bone traumatic fractures of extremities has a significant effect,which can effectively improve the fracture healing time,good fracture healing rate,and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and promote the rehabilitation.It is worthy of clinical research.
