The standardization status in China and foreign countries of disposable tampons was introduced in this paper. By comparing the China’s and foreign standards and regulations of disposable tampons, an analysis was conducted from the aspects such as raw materials, production environment, physical and chemical indicators, hygiene indicators, labels and instructions. It was found that China’s standards had stricter requirements for raw materials, production environment, and microorganisms. Further research is needed in terms of product usability, safety, and other aspects.
