With the description of concepts of the crisis and crisis management and analysis of current research status on crisis management of Chinese and foreign libraries, it is mentioned in this paper that the new crisis of the library comes from the external change of the environment and internal management of libraries. So it is necessary for libraries to carry basic steps for the crisis management, and set up a reasonable mechanism for crisis management, which is widely accepted as the required course in the management of modern libraries.
