This paper introduces some classical theories, such as Maxwell-Garnett formula, Bruggeman formula, etc., and emphatically introduces T-matrix method of Maxwell-Garnett formula to be completed. Moreover, the present research on effective electromagnetic (EM) parameters of absorbing materials at home and abroad is summarised and reviewed.
