本文介绍的是一种基于PIC16F877单片机的新型智能化盲人超声拐杖。文章详细介绍了超声拐杖的测距原理、设计方法及技术实现,并论述了如何有效避免各种障碍物对视力损伤人员的损害。实验表明,该拐杖能有效、安全地辅助视力受损人员行走。


Abstract In this paper,a newly developed intelligent ultrasonic cane for the blind is presented,which is based on the microchip PIC16F877.The theory of ultrasonic ranging,design methods and its realization are introduced in details,especially the design of its hardware.An important aspect of this paper is to propose a method to avoid damages to the visually impaired or disabled persons by various obstacles.Our experimental results have demonstrated that this ultrasonic cane can help visually impaired or disabled persons walk more freely and safely.
