The yttrium content of the yttrium vanadic crystal raw material, which is synthesized in liquid phase, can be measurated by spectrophotometry under different pH number. Experiments prove that pH =7.0 is the optimum acidity-basicity to synthesize material, its yttrium content can achieve 99.39%, which is proximate to the theoretical mumber, so it can be used as the growth material of high-quality YVO 4 optical crystal.
