以昆明理工大学新迎校区教职工居住区景观设计为例，从景观设计原则、景观布局等方面对小尺度空间的景观设计进行了探讨．结果表明：小尺度空间居住区景观设计把人工与自然、功能与艺术、传统与现代有机地结合在一起，能合理、有效地利用有限空间，合理的布局，巧妙的构思，能使人们在小尺度空间内感受不同景观带来的视觉效果．
The staff residential area of Kunming University of Science and Technology is taken as an example to investigate the principles of landscape design,landscape layout,and other aspects of small-scale residential space.It is shown through the results that the landscape design of small-scale residential space can organically combine artificiality and nature,function and art,tradition and modern,which uses limited space reasonably and effectively.Different visual effects are thus displayed for the residents.
