The Compilation of Tuntian is a monograph of compiling the past dynasty＇s historic materials about tuntian. It contains affluent historic materials relevant to tuntian and the author＇s own ideology, so, has important reference value in the field of tuntian history research. But, it＇s neglected for a long time, its abundant value is waiting for exeavation. This paper showed the book＇s survey from the author＇s life, the book＇s background and its content,and, mainly analyzed its ideology of tuntian, concisely evaluated its value.
