Since there is no great difference between the current English teaching methods and the English teaching of general higher education,it is difficult to embody the characteristics of higher vocational English,based on the basic requirements and principles of English teaching of higher vocational education,this paper strives to explore how to embody the characteristics of English teaching model of higher vocational education,that is the application of multiple intelligences theory in the teaching,makes great efforts to integrate the multiple intelligences theory and the teaching effectively and brings the students＇ various intelligence advantages into full play in order to raise students＇ interest in learning English and to cultivate students ＇ English communicative competence.
