In academic circles,the problem on Sang Hongyang's involving himself in King of Yan's rebellion has no final conclusion.Seeing from the published official data,there is no direct evidence for the accusation against him.And the key point for this problem is decided on whether he knew Shangguan Jie and his son were planning a rebellion.It is possible that Sang Hongyan knew it,however,a variety of signs shows that he didn't knew it in fact.So his participation in the rebellion is only actually 'Suspected involvement',in other words,it's a kind of political persecution made by Huoguang.
