A new kind of energy-controlled mode for ultrasonic plastic welder is reportedin the paper. Using this mode the microcomputer control system contro s the weldingtime corresponding to the useful power signal which is sampled through the inputingtransdueer.In this way the weld quality is insensitive to air pressurefluctuation, voltage flutuation,etc. Therefore quality stability is increased.
