During the period of the May 30 th movement, Qu Qiubai not only held a leading position in the anti-imperial patriotic campaign, but also wrote a lot of articles. He put forward the strategy and guiding principle for the movement. Later, he summed up the experience and highly appraised the movement by pointing out its influence and significance in the history of Chinese revolutionary. Indeed, he made great contribution to the development of national liberation movement and the formation of the theory of neo-democratic revolutionary.
