本文基于来自中国吉林等7省758个村庄及村庄农民专业合作经济组织发展状况的实地调研资料,实证研究了社会信任对农民专业合作经济组织产生、存续和发展的影响。通过计量经济分析,研究验证了社会信任是农民专业合作经济组织产生、存续和发展必要条件这样一个假说。同样面临组织化的需求,那些村民之间信任程度比较高的村庄更容易形成农民专业合作经济组织,并且这些组织也能够更好地生存和发展并发挥更好的功能。
