The tape drive with LTO format is used for data storage in server,LTO3 is the third generation which adopts anisotropic magnetoresistive(AMR) heads.The design parameters of magnetic heads,thickness of NiFe,SAL(CoZrMo) and Gap dimensions,were optimized by Taguchi methods.The key factors were analyzed and main factors were determined,and the optimized design was obtained.
