With weight loss rate,yolk index,haugh unit and yolk dispersing rate as the evaluation indicators,the effects of different preservation methods on fresh-keeping of pigeon eggs were investigated.The results showed that,pigeon eggs could keep fresh for 7 days when stored at room temperature(25 ℃),for 40 days when stored at refrigeration temperature(2±1) ℃,for 60 days when combined 0.5 g/m3 ozone sterilization 3 min and refrigeration,for 70 days when combined cleaning with water,ozone sterilization,coating with 6% polyacrylic acid and refrigeration together.
