Important geoheritages are not only valuable national treasures but also necessary components of the ecological environment. The Huzhu Beishan Mountain national geopark is located in the transition zone between the Qinghai-Tibetan plateau and the losses plateau, where geoheritages have varieties of styles and intact landform types. Therefore, the geopark possesses extremely high value for scientific researches on environmental changes in western China.
