陕西省洋县八宝台磁铁矿床位于扬子准地台汉南隆起的北缘汉南岩基东段,秦岭造山带与扬子准地台结合部的弧形转折部位。矿床主要有7个矿体组成,矿体由基性岩浆分异形成的暗色韵律层控制,受热液蚀变和后期构造变质作用影响很大,应该属于岩浆-热液叠加改造型矿床;基性岩体、物探磁异常以及地表的赤铁矿、褐铁矿化是找矿的重要标志。
The Babaotai magnetite deposit is located in the eastern section of the Hannan batholith in the northern margin of the Hannan uplift in Yangtze platform,Qinling orogenic belt and the Yangtze platform with the Department of quasi-arc transition area,Yang city,Shaanxi Province.7 ore-bodies are mainly composed of ore from the base of the formation of magmatic differentiation layer of dark rhythm control structure by hydrothermal alteration and metamorphism of the late great,should belong to the magmatic-hydrothermal reworking type deposits;basic intrusion,geophysical magnetic anomalies and surface of hematite,limonite ore are the important symbol for prospecting iron ore in this area.
