Influenza or flu is a kind of acute contagious viral infection.It is characterized by fever,acratia headache and distention of the eye.Cough appears when there are complications such as tracheitis,bronchitis or bacterial pneumonia.There was an epidemic of flu in late November 2009.Besides the typical symptoms of flu,such as fever,headache and so on;patients also got intractable cough which could not be treated well by drugs.The author had treated 52 cases of intractable cough induced by influenza by SHAO's five needling method.The report is as follows.
