The paper analyzes the definition of science communication, the research status of science communication at home and abroad, and discusses the effects of academic journals on the improvement of science communication research, from the perspectives of collecting science information collection, training author groups, and bridging the gap between scientific research and popularization. We put forward some measures for promoting theoretical studies of science communication by university academic journals from the view of journal editor, journal scheme, and content digitization.
