本文从培养目标、培养方式、质量评价三个维度对美国威斯康星大学生命科学传播系(LSC)的五套科学传播人才培养模式,包括LSC的本科、修课式硕士、论文式硕士、主修博士、辅修博士进行了梳理、分析与讨论。重点关注了五套培养模式的培养目标差异、本科生课程设置情况、硕士生培养计划、博士生质量评价等内容。研究发现LSC不同类型的人才培养方式均紧紧围绕其培养目标展开,呈现出层次化、多样化、富有针对性等特点,为确保人才培养质量,质量评价体系严格。
In this article,the science communication talents cultivation modes at the Department of Life Sciences Communication,university of Wisconsin-Madison are studied. The analysis framework includes the cultivation goals,curriculum settings,the faculty and the quality evaluation. The bachelor degree program,thesis masters degree program,course-based masters degree program and joint Ph.D. program in mass communications(major and minor) are analyzed through the analysis framework. Especially the difference between the five cultivation goals,the bachelor degree curriculum settings,the two master programs and the quality evaluation of joint Ph.D. degree program are analyzed in detail. These five cultivation modes are highly centered on their different cultivation goals with rigid quality evaluation system.
