The early and accurate assessment of renal functional is important for postponing and reducing hypertensive renal damage. In clinical practice, when routine blood and urine tests are normal, several examinations with higher sensitivity can still show some abnormalities and thus be used to evaluate renal function timely and accurately. Some indicators for the evaluation of hypertension-related subclinical renal damage are reviewed in this paper.
