The high power microwave weapon is one kind of new multi-function destructive weapon. This paper introduces the basic concepts, classification and constitution of the high power microwave weapon, and analyzes its damage mechanism. Combining the technique characteristics of missile-borne guidance electronic equipments, the damage on receiver by high power microwave weapon is analyzed and computed. Three damage modes of high power microwave weapon on guidance electronic equipments are concluded.
