This paper,from the perspective of eco-translatology,which lays its emphasis on adaptation and selection,analyses Mr.Yuenren Chao＇s translation of Alice＇s Adventures in Wonderland,and points out that any translated version,if it can satisfy the internal as well as the external needs of translation,will certainly be successful,thus enjoying a great reputation and a wide audience,Mr.Yuenren Chao＇s translation of Alice＇s Adventures in Wonderland being a typical and convincing example.
