The features and functions of the monitoring system for the electric vehicle charging station and battery swap station are introduced, such as functions of the monitoring units for charging, battery swap, distribution, video and condition, as well as operation management. A design scheme of the system with layered architecture is proposed in the paper, and it is further discussed with a specific project.
