Ming Dynasty writer Jia Zhongming''s works were known for being gorgeous at his time. However, many opera historians and literature historians think that his Guan Mu and lyrics are ordinary. Considering Jia Zhongming''s drama performance and his identity, it is not difficult for the readers to understand those hidden ethical issues. This paper examines Jia Zhongming''s three romance dramas, from the gender perspective.
