Based on the exoteric communication data between popular instant messenger client software,using sniffer tool of network, we analyse the unopened and nonuniform text message transmitting protocol of those software by converse way.Particularly describe the form of ICQ text message transmitting protocol and compare the characteristic of ICQ,AIM,MSN and Yahoo Messgeger protocol. Provide reference for text message transmitting monitor in the future.
