This paper from the following four aspects discussed the history of the Hongbang tailor,analyzed the origin of the Hongbang tailor′s name in light of the three legends,and researched the historical origin of Hongbang tailors according to the related history material from China and Japan and oral history of veteran artists.Comparing the shop management between the Hongbang tailors and the original gang tailors,it explains the expanding of tailor′s concept;and it determine the crowd scope of the red tailoring according to the historical information from the archives.
