康滇地区是我国南方前震旦纪地层出露最为广泛的地区之一，也是我国重要成矿区带之一，昆阳群（会理群）地层和矿产的研究已经历半个多世纪，收于情况复杂，至今对层序和对比的认识仍较分歧，严重影响了前震旦纪地质工作的深入开展，笔者较全面深入的剖析了造成认识分歧的几个核心问题，并在前人工作基础上，建立起昆阳群（会理群）上，中，下三个亚群十二个组的层序剖面，最后对已发现的矿产按组，段进行归口，发现贫河组，清水沟组下段和清水沟组上段是重复重要赋矿层位，具有较大的经济价值和较好的找矿前景。
The Kang-Dian Area is one of the areas with widely outeropped Presinian in South China and an important metallogenic zone of China. The history of stratigraphy and mineral resources study on Kunyang Group(Huili Group) is more than one half a century long. Because of the complicated situation, the view points about its sequence and correlation are very different one another until now, which has seriously influenced the development of the geological study on Presinian. We have analyzed the key problems causing these differences and set up the sequence section of Upper, Middle, Lower 3 subgroups and 12 Formations of Kunyang Group on the previous basis. And we have summarized the mineral resources discovered in every formation or Member. Then, we find the chahe Formation, Lower and Upper Members of Qingshuigou Formatin to be the important ore-bearing horizons with economic value and prospecting potentiality.
