民国时期中国的图书馆事业经历了一段飞速发展,社会力量起到了重要作用。该文基于《申报》1925—1927年的报道,即主要根据上海地区的案例,分析社会力量参与图书馆建设的4种主要形式,并对其原因作了分析,发现了社会背景和图书馆自身努力在其中的作用。
