疯癫是田纳西·威廉斯毕生所痴迷的戏剧主题之一。文章以拉康对主体性和欲望的互文性阐释为理论基础,对《欲望号街车》中典型的疯癫女主人公及其疯癫性进行深入的文本研究。布兰奇由于欲望客体的缺失而丧失其主体性,在寻求主体性的过程中,她成为文明社会中欲望的牺牲品。其疯癫性是理性和感性世界矛盾冲突、文明压抑主体欲望的必然结果。

Based on Lacanian interpretation of the interrelationship bet ween Subjectivity and Desire, I mean to make a textual study of Blanche and her typical insanity in A Streetcar Named Desire.
