Between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, China and Vietnam suffered invasion from big powers, but Japan improved itself and developed through the Meiji Reformation. Japan have been model and to be followed by a lot of Asian countries including China and Vietnam. This text tells people a historical phenomenon that China and Vietnam went to Japan for studying abroad in this historical period, seeking to save the nation. This text analyzes the reason why it caused such phenomenon and the different results which China and Vietnam had studied from Japan.
