为了解安徽省脊髓灰质炎发病情况,１９９２年开展了１５岁以下儿童脊髓灰质炎后遗症普查,共查出７６３９例患儿,现患率为０．４４‰;发病平原高于丘陵和山区,农村高于城市;好发年龄的３岁以下,结果分析表明,１９７６－１９９１年脊髓灰质炎有两个流行高峰,发病呈下降趋势,１９９１年发病率最低。１９７６－１９８８年疫情漏报情况较为严重。
In 1992, a screening of poliomyelitis caused lameness among children under 15 years of age was conducted to verify whether poliomyelitis has been absent in Anhui. A total number of 7 639 cases were diagnosed as poliomyelitis caused lameness. The prevalence rate was 0.44‰. the rate was higher in plains than in hilly and mountainous areas. Rate was higher in ural than in urban areas. The disease mainly oceured in children at age below 3. The result showed that there were two epidemic peaks during 1976-1991, but the incidence rate tended to be declining. The incidence rate was the lowest in 1991, Many cases were not reported during 1976-1988.
